SafeChoice® Lock
Out-Zero VOC
SafeChoice
Lock Out is designed to perform two functions; first,
to seal in the outgassing of harmful chemicals found
in carpet fibers, and second, to help repel dirt and
stains. Recommended as part of a 3 step carpet care
system that includes; SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo
and SafeChoice Carpet Seal.
Carpet Seal is generally suitable for all synthetic
carpets and rugs. Always spot test to insure
compatibility with your carpet. Not recommended for
wool.

The
third step to healthy carpet is an application
of SafeChoice Lock-Out. In addition to helping
repel dirt and stains, Lock-Out also seals and
reduces the outgassing of harmful chemicals
used in the manufacture of carpet fibers.
Carpet should be vacuumed and cleaned prior to
application. We recommend you use non toxic,
odorless SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo. Seal
carpet with SafeChoice Carpet Seal, then allow
the carpet to dry thoroughly before proceeding
with application of Lock Out. Carpet must
be completely dry. For carpets
exceeding four year, the use of Carpet Seal
may be optional. Use a hand held pump sprayer.
Spray a fine mist evenly and uniformly over
carpet surface. Do not oversaturate. Allow
carpet to dry to touch before permitting
traffic.
